Christmas Question: The best Christmas gift I gave someone

My daughter.

Judy Morse, florist

Towels and dishes to my children because it made me feel good to give them something they could use.

Twila Lackey,

dietitian at HCMC

My daughter.

Darryl Thiesen,

director, Marion County Ambulance Service

I gave my mother Smelly Jelly because she likes potpourri. It made me feel good to make her happy.

Connie Thorne, 10

Me and my mom together gave my dad a Palm Pilot. He wasn't expecting it, but it was the perfect gift.

Chelsey Harmon, 16

Hillsboro High School student

My two-and-a-half-year-old great-grandson loves "Spiderman." He is always going around pretending to shoot spider webbing from his fingertips. I bought him a "Spiderman" video for Christmas. He got to open it early and he gasped and said, "Spiderman!" He hung on to that movie all day long. He and his mom are home watching it today.

Joyce Hanneman, 73

co-manager of Etc. Shop

My husband wrote and published an article entitled, "All I Ever Needed to Know I Learned in Football." I had it framed professionally with his picture. His passion is football and sports.

Kim Kroeker

When I was in high school, I gave my grandparents home-made canned foods like sugar-free jelly. They were both diabetic and they were so appreciative of what I did.
