City administrator wants input from community

New Hillsboro City Administrator Larry Paine wants input from local leaders regarding his position.

He told Hillsboro City Council Aug. 7 that he was in the process of visiting all business in Hillsboro, starting with the downtown area, seeking input from owners regarding the city and Paine's role as administrator.

A memo is being distributed to community leaders, asking their input about the role of city administrator.

The questions Paine asks are:

— What are the three most important things about Hillsboro that we need to preserve and why?

— What are the three most important things about Hillsboro that we need to change and why?

— What are the things you are most hopeful that I do as city administrator?

— What are the things you are most concerned about that I might do as city administrator?

— What advice do you have?

With the information gathered from this questionnaire, Paine will report the information to the city council and the community.

Paine hopes this information will give him a perspective of how the community sees his role and how to better serve the community.
