City council approves no parking resolution
The Hillsboro City Council approved Resolution No. 2004-3 Tuesday at its regular meeting.
The resolution provides for vehicle control measures in order to facilitate the safe and orderly preparation of the downtown area for the annual Hillsboro Arts and Crafts Fair.
No unauthorized vehicles will be allowed to park after 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, in the 100 block of West Grand, 100 and 200 blocks of East Grand, 100 and 200 blocks of South Main, and 100 and 200 blocks of North Main.
All unauthorized vehicles remaining within these areas after 6 p.m. will be removed by either the city or a private tow service and stored at the cost of the owner.
