Clarence Bartel
Clarence Elmer Bartel, 80, of Durham, died Aug. 23, 2005, at Via Christi St. Francis Campus, Wichita.
Born April 13, 1925, at Durham, he was the son of David and Anna (Classen) Bartel.
On Oct. 23, 1955, he married Ann Meier at Lincoln, Neb.
He was a member of Enterprise S.D.A. Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ann of Durham; son, Marlin Bartel of Lincoln, Neb.; daughter, Cheryl and Marlin Bartel of Hillsboro; brother, Dean Bartel of Olathe; two sisters, Audrey Bartel of Newton and Georgia Bartel of Wichita; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday morning at Enterprise S.D.A. Church, Enterprise, with Pastor Lynn Westbrook officiating.
Burial was in Durham Park Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with the church or with Becker City of Durham Library Fund.
