Clifford Delk
Clifford Delk, 86, died Feb. 2, 2004, at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
Born Nov. 19, 1917, at Gray, Okla., he was the son of Jacob and Katie (Seibel) Delk.
On Aug. 8, 1940, he married Evelyn Warkentin at Hillsboro.
A farmer, he was a member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; a sister; and a grandson, Sean Abbott.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn of Hillsboro; a son, Jim Delk of Hillsboro; four daughters, Kathleen Schmidt of Park City, Margaret Tice of Marion, Beverly Flaming of Pagosa Springs, Colo., and Pam Abbott of Hillsboro; a brother, Irvin Delk of Perryton, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Dave Plett officiating.
Burial will be in Hillsboro MB Cemetery.
The family will receive guests from 5 to 7 Thursday at Hillsboro Memorial Chapel.
Memorial funds have been established with the church or Newton Davita Dialysis Center.
