Colleges announce area graduates

Kansas State University

Area students who recently graduated from Kansas State University were:

From Hillsboro: Carmelita Goossen, bachelor of science, agriculture; Sidney Ostlind, bachelor of science, family studies and human services.

Lincolnville: Denise Beneke, bachelor of architecture; Gregory Klenda, bachelor of science, agriculture.

Lost Springs: Renee Ecklund, bachelor of science, electrical engineering.

Marion: Meredith Moore, bachelor of fine arts.

Peabody: Grant Klingenberg, bachelor of science, agriculture; Seth Post, bachelor of science; and Paul Scott, bachelor of science in mechanical engineering.

The University of Kansas

Area students among spring graduates of the University of Kansas.

Goessel: Joshua Ashley, master of science/environmental health, son of Frankie Ashley.

Hillsboro: Sara Raugust, doctor of pharmacy, daughter of Daniel and Susan Janzen.

Lincolnville: Robert McGee, bachelor of general studies/theatre and film, son of Joe and Letizia Vinduska.

Marion: Eliza Bennett, doctor of medicine, daughter of Harry and Margaret Bennett; Lisa Buchholz, doctor of pharmacy, daughter of Marlin and Debbie Buchholz.

Emporia State University

Area students recently participated in the spring 2006 commencement exercises at Emporia State University.

They included Nicole Carroll, Adam Jilka, and Stacey Kern of Hillsboro, and Maggie Powers of Marion who graduated summa cum laude with a 3.80 or better grade point average.

Hesston College

Associate degrees recently were granted to area graduates from Hesston College.

Associate of Arts: Tyler Peachey, Hillsboro; and Christopher Voth and Jeremy Voth, Goessel.

Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences-Nursing: Darlene Hubbard, Lincolnville; Tammy Krause and Amy Richards, Hillsboro; and Tracy Woodruff, Peabody.

Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences-Pastoral Ministries: Daniel Schroeder, Hillsboro.
