Cooperative Grain manager re-elected to Farmland board
Lyman Adams, general manager of Cooperative Grain and Supply of Hillsboro, has been re-elected to the Farmland Board of Directors. He represents District 2, covering Kansas.
Adams has been a member of the board since 1992 and most recently served on the Governance Committee. He has also served on the Finance Committee. He serves as treasurer and past president of CenKan, LLC, and is a member of the Kansas Co-op Council. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Kansas State University.
"The board will continue to focus on what it will take to make Farmland profitable," Adams said. "We have made changes and continue to look at all avenues to strengthen the business. My vision of the cooperative system is to create a structure that does its best to serve the membership in an efficient and profitable manner."
Adams was re-elected in December during Farmland's Annual Meeting in Kansas City, Mo. As one of 22 directors, Adams shares responsibility for the overall direction of Farmland.
