Cottonwood Point program is Thursday

Congratulations to Richard and Kathy Dirks on the arrival of their grandchildren. Twins, Payton Darlene and Cale Michael, were born on Friday to Shon and Kim Buster at Wesley Medical Center.

The Cottonwood Grove Christian School will have their closing program Thursday evening at 7:30 at the school. Parents, neighbors, and friends are welcome.

On Tuesday evening Dora Unruh accompanied her friends from work to attend the cooking school at McPherson put on by Taste of Home. There were quite a few ladies from the community that also attended, but since there was such a large crowd, I didn't see everyone and won't try to name everyone attending.

Orville and Delores Richert watched their granddaughter, Kathy Jenson, who is a senior, play softball at Galva this past week.

Family and neighbors had a house warming this Friday for Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes who recently moved into their new home and 386 340th, rural Tampa.

Congratulations to Nelson and Bev Wiebe on the May 4 arrival of their son who has been named Jacob Scott. He was 6 pounds, 15 ounces. He has brother Jordan and sister Brooke to welcome him.

Mike and Michelene Rhodes were Sunday dinner guests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Troy Schmidt and family, and Irvin Isaac.

Dora Unruh went Friday to Parkside Homes to enjoy a potluck supper with her father- in-law, Wes Unruh, and other residents from Hall A. They had a short program.

Larry and Wanda Koehn hosted a birthday get together Sunday for Titus' 10th birthday. Guests were the Quinton Unruh family, the Travis Koehn family, and Dayton and Martha Unruh and Carol.

Roy and Nadine Davis went Monday to Fairview, Okla., to attend the memorial services for Mark Jantz, 40, who was killed in a car accident. He is survived by his wife and several children.
