Country Stitcher's Quilt Guild cancels meeting
Because the "Quilt Bus" will not be coming to Hillsboro due to a family illness, the Country Stitcher's Quilt Guild's meeting scheduled for Oct. 2 has been canceled.
All members and other interested visitors should know that the October meeting will be held on Oct. 16. Plan now to join us at 7:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 905 East D, Hillsboro.
The guest speaker will be Kathleen Heinrichs, from Reedley, Calif. Her love of quilting has taken her across the United States. She is chair of the West Coast MCC quilt auction and she heads up the MCC sewing room in Reedley. She designs patterns, teaches classes, and is a traveled speaker.
