Credit to the cooks
To the Editor:
You inadvertently provided a "funny" for your readers in the Song on the Lawn story when you gave me credit for preparing the food for that event. Everyone who knows me knows I don't cook — just thinking about cooking for 350 people puts me in a panic.
Credit for the great food goes to Bob Boese, who prepared the pork, Joyful Noise board members for the baked beans, and Goessel Mennonite Church for the ice cream.
Also, Rusten Schroeder was the "counter man."
Thanks for coming to Song on the Lawn and reporting it in the Star-Journal — we've really appreciated the way you've covered many activities in the Goessel community.
