David Loewen
David F. Loewen, 80, of Hillsboro died Feb. 13, 2003, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center in Hillsboro.
Born March 18, 1922, at rural Hillsboro, he was the son of Abraham S. and Elizabeth (Fast) Loewen.
On Aug. 14, 1970, he married Alyce Faul at Harvey, N.D.
He worked at Hesston Corporation and was a member of Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bernhard F. Loewen in 1963 and Aaron F. Loewen at infancy.
Survivors include wife, Alyce Faul Loewen of the home; brothers, Peter F. Loewen of rural Hillsboro and Albert F. Loewen of North Newton; and sisters, Martha Loewen of rural Hillsboro and Hulda Loewen of Wichita.
Services were held Tuesday at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Tim Sullivan officiating. Burial was at Springfield Cemetery at rural Hillsboro.
A memorial fund has been established with Parkview MB Church missions.
