Davis visits during spring break

Rhonda Davis, who teaches in Starbuck, Minn., came home early Thursday morning with friends Myra Toews, Debbie Schmidt, and Rena Toews to spend some of their spring break until Monday with family. On Sunday, dinner guests of the Davises were Gerald and Eva Davis.

Orville and Delores Richert attended the Saturday afternoon memorial services for Selma Penner at the Trinity Church in Hillsboro.

Having Sunday dinner at the home of the Larry Koehns was the Quinton Unruh family from Canton.

The Harlan Koehn family and the Ken Giesbrecht family were Sunday dinner guests of Harry and Sheryle Rhodes.

The Senior Citizens of Durham community met on Wednesday noon for their regular meeting. Everyone enjoyed a carry-in dinner and a program brought by Noreen Weems from Marion.

There were not a whole lot of activities this weekend. Everyone stayed close to home due to the bitter cold temperatures and blowing snow.
