Denise Koehn returns from Nova Scotia

Denise Koehn who had spent the past month in Nova Scotia returned home on Wednesday. Friday evening, the Larry Koehn family got together at the home of Tim and Shelia Koehn to hear about her experiences.
Ken and Sandy Wiebe invited Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, Heath, and Bethany, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, and minister Verle Yost to be their Sunday dinner guests.
Richard and Kathy Dirks spent the weekend at Mid- America Nazarene College at Olathe to attend the basketball tournament there. Tyler Weinbrenner who is enrolled as a sophomore plays on the college team. There were four teams and Nazarene took first in the tournament.
Guests for Sunday dinner in the Clayton Wiebe home were Jerald and Rhonda Koehn and family and Melvin and Vera Dirks.
The Ron Unruhs, Marcella Unruh, and Lola Redger went to the Ebenezer Baptist Church Sunday evening to hear the 14-member Wissman family from Seward, Neb., give a musical program. The children ranging in age from 22 to three years all participated, singing and playing 12 different instruments.
The Morning Star Church is having revival meetings this week with Ministers Verle Yost, Mount Grove, Mo., and Kalvin Salsbury, Montezuma. They are house guests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe.
On Sunday, dinner guests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were the Merlin Wiebe family, Mark Wiebe family, Jason Wiebe family, and Justin Wiebe family, Bloomfield, Iowa. The Justin Wiebe family were on their way home from Phoenix, Ariz., where they adopted a baby girl born Nov. 1. They have named her Laura Beth and she has two brothers, Derek, 10, and Jaylen, 6, to welcome her. Grandparents are Ransom and Lillian Wiebe and Abe and Louise Ensz, Hillsboro. The family is spending a few days here and at Hillsboro before returning home.
Richard and Kathy Dirks spent last weekend vacationing in Branson, Mo.
Barb Unruh and Sarah spent the weekend with her niece Tonya Kroeker and family at Enid, Okla. While there, she attended the MCC sale. She returned home Sunday afternoon.
