Diener, Nichols exchange vows June 11 years ago
Emily Nicole Diener and Kent Allan Nichols were united in marriage at 4 p.m. June 11, at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Donna Diener of Hillsboro. Her grandparents are Paul and Arlene Pankratz of Hillsboro.
The groom is the son of Lonnie and Melinda Nichols of Eureka. His grandparents are Lloyd Nichols of Eureka and Joan Culler of Eureka.
Pastor Curtis Wiens officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Vocalists were Holly Fessenden of Yukon, Okla., and Sherilyn Kadel of Randall. Organist was Eleanor Herbel of Tampa.
Candles were lighted by Krista Kopper of Garden City.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown of Italian satin featuring a V-neck and back. The princess cut gown was enhanced with pearls and sequins on the bodice, skirt, and chapel-length train.
She carried a bouquet of dark red Gerbera daisies and white lilies.
Marissa Diener of Hillsboro, was maid of honor. Leah Kopper of Garden City and Kelsey Nichols of Eureka were bridesmaids.
Kyle Nichols of Dodge City served as best man. Chad Gulick of Eureka and Cody Echols of Farmington, N.M., were groomsmen.
Sarah Diener of Newton was the flower girl.
Guests were seated by Nick Levendofsky of Belleville, Kyle Rockhill of Eureka, Caleb McNally of Hardtner, and Brandon Van Allen of Phillipsburg.
Gift attendants were Sara Hamm and Morganne Hamm, both of Tampa.
Krista Kopper was in charge of the guest book.
The bride is a graduate of Kansas State University and is employed by Mid-Kansas Cooperative in Moundridge.
Her husband is a graduate of Kansas State University and is an agronomy production specialist for Mid-Kansas Cooperative, Walton.
Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is at home in Hesston.
