Duerksen to lead teen seminar
Carol Duerksen of rural Hillsboro, local author and seminar leader, will lead a workshop on teaching teen-agers Jan. 19 at Olde Towne Restaurant in Hillsboro.
Duerksen will be speaking on "The Joy of Teaching Teens" in the congregational setting, and adults who work with youth as Sunday school teachers or youth group leaders are invited to attend.
The seminar is the third in a series of Saturday evening dinner and entertainment packages offered by the restaurant. For more details call (620) 947-5446.
