Dwayne Reusser
Dwayne Reusser, 72, died Nov. 14, 2007, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center Long Term Care Unit.
Born April 14, 1935, at Wichita, he was the son of Jennings and Elma (Klassen) Reusser.
He was an insurance claims adjuster. He was a member of First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro.
On June 30, 1958, he married Shirley Hiebert at Newton.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley of Hillsboro; two sons, Layne Reusser and Ty Reusser of Wichita; daughter, Diedre Serene of Hillsboro; brother, LaVerne Reusser of Mulvane; five sisters, Delores Dickey of Pittsburg, Jennis Rhoades of Evergreen, Colo., Ruth Ann Reusser of Destin, Fla., Mary Elizabeth Abbott of Arvada, Colo., and Flossie Richardson of Mulvane; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday morning at First Mennonite Church with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial was in Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
Memorial funds have been established with the church, Hospice Care of Kansas, or Hillsboro Community Medical Center.
