Edgar Warkentin
Edgar M. Warkentin, 83, of Goessel died Nov. 16, 2003, at Sunflower Villa.
Born July 11, 1920, at Lehigh, he was the son of Henry and Ella Ewert Warkentin.
He lived in the Lehigh and Goessel area and was a member of Goessel Mennonite Church.
He enjoyed playing pool and pitching horseshoes.
He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
Survivors include a nephew, Don Warkentin of Newton; sister-in-law, Lorene Warkentin of Newton; and two great-nephews, Duane Warkentin of Kansas City and Darren Warkentin of Santa Monica, Calif.
The burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Lehigh Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at Bethesda Home in Goessel. Rev. Kevin Goertzen will officiate the service.
A memorial fund has been established with Bethesda Home.
