Edna Gaede
Edna Gaede, 92, died June 1, 2007, at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
Born Feb. 4, 1915, at Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Penner) Funk.
On May 25, 1943, she married Walter Gaede at Hillsboro.
She was a homemaker and farmer and a member of Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro.
Survivors include a son, Delbert Gaede of Santa Cruz, Calif.; two daughters, Myrna Krehbiel of North Newton and Priscilla Neal of Granbury, Texas; two sisters, Luella Stucky of Hutchinson and Marie Boldt of Reedley, Calif.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Ann Showalter officiating.
Burial will be in Johannestal Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
Memorial funds have been established with MCC, Parkside Homes, or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
