Edna Jantz
Edna Jantz, 81, died June 29, 2006, at Bethesda Home, Goessel.
Born April 18, 1925, at Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Peter and Martha Schmidt.
On Sept. 8, 1991, she married Edward Jantz at Lehigh.
Survivors include her husband, Edward; children, Wenda Black of Sedgwick, Barton Nickel and Nelson Nickel and Miretta Friesen, all of Canton, and Ruth Crawford of Weatherford, Texas; stepdaughter, Saundra Quiring; two brothers, Joseph Goossen of Hesston and Eldon Schmidt of Canton; sister, Rosella Goering of Newton; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel, with Pastor Lee Suderman presiding.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with Bethesda Home.
