Eighth grade girls take fourth at Halstead
The Hillsboro Middle School track team competed April 15 at the Halstead quint in Halstead.
Teams participating at the meet were Hillsboro, Colwich, Haven, Hesston, and Halstead.
The eighth grade girls' team placed second, and the seventh grade girls placed fourth.
The seventh grade boys placed third, and the eighth grade boys placed fourth.
Individual statistics of the official times, heights and distances were not available.
"Our middle school athletes are beginning to find the events in which they both enjoy and excel," head coach Dennis Boldt said.
"They are working extremely hard and have posted some very good marks at this point in the season," Boldt said.
