Eitzen, Suderman wed at Parkview Church

Amy Janelle Eitzen and Dean Alan Suderman, both of Hillsboro, were married May 17, 2003, at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro with the Rev. Tim Sullivan and Rev. Gaylord Goertzen officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Alan and Jan Eitzen of Newton and the granddaughter of Margaret Eitzen of Hillsboro.

The groom is the son of Orval and Rosella Suderman of Hillsboro.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a white A-line satin gown. The floor-length gown had a halter top embroidered with bead and sequin details. The cathedral-length train, featuring the same details as the bodice, was overlaid with organza and attached to the low, square back with a bow. A white fingertip veil was held in place by a white beaded tiara.

The bride's bouquet, made by her and her mother, was a cascade of silk flowers including off white and burgundy roses, burgundy ranunculus, periwinkle hydrangea, royal blue bouvardia, and off white wisteria.

Maralyn Stolzfus of Hillsboro was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Erin Dilks of Salina, Nicole Suderman of Hillsboro, and honorary Tammy Lyon of Topeka.

Marty Dalke of Hillsboro was best man.

Groomsmen were Justin Dyck and Dale Klassen, both of Hillsboro and brothers-in-law of the groom.

Ushers were Mark Eitzen of Wichita, brother of the bride; David Unruh of Hillsboro, cousin of the bride; Paul Todd of Auburn; and Kevin Suderman and Dennis Frantz, both of Hillsboro.

Candlelighters were Gail Dyck and Kay Klassen, both of Hillsboro and sisters of the groom.

Ringbearers were Jared Dyck and Brandon Klassen, both of Hillsboro and nephews of the groom.

Flower girl was Kelli Dyck of Hillsboro, niece of the groom.

The bride's personal attendant was Paula Wiebe of Emporia. Ceremony coordinator was Jennifer Bartel of Hillsboro.

Musicians were Brenda Jordan of Hillsboro, pianist; Paul Epp of Hillsboro, trumpeter; Jennifer Snesrud, cousin of the bride, of McPherson, flutist.

During the lighting of the candle, "Household of Faith" by Rosasco was played, which was recorded by the bride and groom.

Guest book attendants were Laura Richert and Jennifer Schroeder, both of Hutchinson.

Gift attendants were Andy and Aaron Klassen, both of Hillsboro and nephews of the groom, and Jubal and Echo Shantz of Oklahoma, cousins of the groom.

Flower attendants were Joy Dalke of Hillsboro and Amanda Edwards of South Dakota.

A reception followed the ceremony and was hosted by Jennifer Unruh, Alissa Unruh, and Nancy Miller, all cousins of the bride.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended Tabor College. She is employed at Dale's Supermarket, Inc. in Hillsboro.

The groom is a 1989 graduate of Hillsboro high School and graduated from Butler county Community College. He is a farmer.

After a honeymoon in South Dakota, the couple reside south of Hillsboro.

Rehearsal dinner

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents on May 16, 2003, in the Parkview Mennonite Brethren fellowship hall.
