Elbiata Singers to perform at Manheim Steamroller concert
Goessel High School's 22-voice mixed ensemble, The Elbiata Singers, under the direction of Greg Bontrager, has been selected to perform at the Mannheim Steamroller Concert, Nov. 30 at the Kansas Coliseum.
One choral group is chosen in each of the cities during the Christmas tour to perform carols in an area around the venue. They will perform 45 minutes before the concert and then 20 minutes during the intermission.
According to Bontrager, The Elbiata Singers has performed in many places but this will definitely be a memorable experience for the students and director.
"We won't be performing in the concert hall but it is still a great honor for us to be just a small part of Mannheim's Wichita Concert experience," Bontrager said.
