Elementary spring program is May 1
Goessel Elementary School students in kindergarten through grade three will present their spring program at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on May 1 in the grade school gymnasium.
The presentation of "Eloise Who Lived in a Shoe" tells the story of the old woman who lived in a shoe, her familiar nursery rhyme children, and their adventures in a typical day. The program is centered on numerous nursery rhyme songs. Third grade students will be featured as main characters, in small ensembles, and as soloists.
Ann Hiebert, the second grade teacher, will narrate as Mother Goose. Marcia Brubaker and student teacher Karenza Kroeker will direct the program. Fifth and sixth grade students will provide accompaniment.
