Elmer Sawatzky
Elmer Ellard Sawatzky, 88, of Federal Way, Wash., died July 3, 2005.
Born March 25, 1917, at Herbert, Saskatchewan, Canada, he was the son of George and Minnie (Klein) Sawatzky.
He met his wife, Erna Ruth Harder, at Tabor College, Hillsboro, where he finished his college education.
He spent much of his life as a Christian bookseller in Washington, then working at Sears.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Art and Ted.
Survivors include his wife, Erna Ruth; four children, Michael, Steven, Gregory, and Nancy; brother, Clarence; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held in Lynnwood, Wash., and burial was in Floral Hills Cemetery, Lynnwood.
