ENGAGEMENTS: Michael Friesen and Kirstin Nelson
The engagement of Kirstin Marie Nelson and Michael Allen Friesen is announced by their parents, Rex and Marlene Nelson of Hutchinson and Dennis and Betty Friesen of Herington.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Carl and Ruby Friesen of Hillsboro.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 10, 2002, at Kirk's Rolling Hills in Hutchinson.
The bride-elect graduated from Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College. She is employed at Kwik Shop Corporate Office and plans to attend radiology technical school at HCC in the fall.
The bridegroom-elect graduated from Herington High School and is employed at City Beverage in Hutchinson.
