Erma Hiebert
Erma Hiebert, 87, of Hillsboro died June 12, 2004, at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
Born Sept. 29, 1916, at Lehigh, she was the daughter of Peter and Marie (Loewen) Stubby.
On Feb. 9, 1941, at Lehigh, she married Bill Hiebert. He died in 2000.
She was a member of First Mennonite Church in Hilslboro and a nurse's aide at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son Phillip Dean Hiebert in 1948.
Survivors include son, Calvin and wife Kate Hiebert of rural Goessel; sisters, Maurine Martens and Goldie Franz, both of Hillsboro; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services were held Wednesday at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Stan Bohn officiating. Burial was Lehigh Cemetery in Lehigh.
An Erma Hiebert Memorial Fund has been established.
