Ervin Adrian
Ervin H. Adrian, 88, of Buhler died July 9, 2002, at Sunshine Home in Buhler.
Born Aug. 12, 1913, in rural Buhler, he was the son of J.L. and Mary (Neufeld) Adrian. He was a lifetime resident of Buhler.
He graduated from Tabor College with a BA and THB, majoring in theology. He was an independent insurance agent and a lay minister.
On Sept. 20, 1939, he married Helen Reimer. She survives.
He was the co-founder of Central Christian School in Hutchinson and served on its board of directors for 57 years. He was a member of the Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church and Million Dollar Round Table and served on the evangelism board of Southern District Mennonite Brethren churches.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Lowell Adrian of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Marlin Adrian of Winston-Salem, N.C.; brothers, Norman Adrian and Elmer Adrian of Buhler; sister, Ruth Friesen of Garden City; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were July 15 at Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church in Buhler with Pastors Nick Rempel, Brent Warkentin and Roland Reimer presiding. Burial was at Buhler Municipal Cemetery.
