Esther Ratzlaff
Esther Mae Ratzlaff, 86, died April 6, 2007, at Memorial Home, Moundridge.
Born May 3, 1920, at Goessel, she was the daughter of Jacob and Susie (Janzen) Schroeder.
On Oct. 18, 1941, she married Isaac Ratzlaff at Goessel.
She was a homemaker and member of Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; stepmother, Justina Schroeder; five sisters, Alice Pankratz, Margaret Riesen, Sarah Wunderlich, Edna Nickel, and Marlene Schroeder; and two brothers, Sam Schroeder and Ed Schroeder.
Survivors include son, Roger Ratzlaff of Hesston; two daughters, LaDean Morley of Spokane, Wash., and Jerilyn Call of Silver Lake; sister, Evelyn Banman of Hillsboro; brother, Alden Schroeder of Goessel; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel, with Pastor lee Suderman, Pastor Linda Ewert, and Pastor Susan Wheeler officiating.
Burial will be in Alexanderwohl Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with Memorial Home, Moundridge.
