Ethel Hammans
Ethel Louise Hammans, 90, of Sapulpa, Okla., died Oct. 5, 2005.
Born Aug. 11, 1915, at Florence, she went to school and worked as an original Harvey Girl at the railroad station there.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, was active in the ladies' Bible study, graded mail correspondence classes, and participated in foreign missionary work.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Millford; parents; and one brother.
Survivors include three sons, John of Lead Hill, Ark., Gail of Sapulpa, Okla., and Paul of Great Bend; sister, Elsie Tittle of Florence; brother, Edward of El Dorado, Calif.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Burial was in Douglas Cemetery, Douglass.
