Everybody wins at HES Carnival

The elementary school carnival last Friday was a big hit for kids and adults alike.
The annual event was held in two of the Marion County Fairgrounds buildings, and according to elementary school principal Evan Yoder, the carnival went well.
Some high school cheerleaders and members of the middle school Leo Club volunteered to help run booths and paint faces. This allowed parents of elementary school-aged children to enjoy the evening with their kids.
Everyone who came to the carnival was a winner, but some also won raffle prizes. Thirty prizes were given away and proceeds from the raffle reached almost $500.
