Fadenrechts to celebrate 60th anniversary years ago
Edwin J. and Helen V. (Faul) Fadenrecht will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception for family and friends from 3-5 p.m. Oct. 10 in Wohlgemuth Music Education Center lobby on Tabor College campus.
The Fadenrechts were married Oct. 1, 1944, at the Harvey Country Mennonite Brethren Church, Harvey, N.D.
From 1944-1988 they operated a farm near Munich, N.D. They were members of the Rosehill Mennonite Brethren Church where they led gospel music ministries including men's quartets, men's choruses, mixed choirs, a radio broadcast program, and were involved with other church ministries and community services.
Their children are daughter Willa Jean Reddig and husband, Ken, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and son, Kirby Fadenrecht and wife, Donna, of Hillsboro. Grandchildren include Chantel (Reddig) Zwiep, husband Nik and children Alexandra and Cole, of Morden, Manitoba; Lamont Reddig and wife, Dori, of Winnipeg, Manitoba; Risa Fadenrecht and Macy Fadenrecht of Hillsboro.
