Failure to signal turn results in drug arrest
At 11:54 p.m. Sept. 24 an individual was stopped at 330th and Limestone for failing to signal a turn. A marijuana seed was in plain view by Deputy Larry Starkey. A search of the vehicle discovered marijuana and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sometime between 5 p.m. Sept. 28 and 9 a.m. Sept. 29, an unknown person threw a rock into a glass pane, breaking it. The window, valued at $50, is property of Trevia J. Schneider, 303 North F, Ramona, states Deputy Rollin Schmidt.
An individual was in the home of Judy A. Hiebert, 1528 150th, Marion, at 3 p.m. Sept. 15. The individual attempted to steal medication from a cancer patient, reports Undersheriff Randal Brazil. The drugs were valued at $30.
At 7 p.m. June 8, a victim had several people at her residence at Lost Springs. The victim consumed alcohol, went to her bedroom, and passed out. When she awoke, an individual was on top of her. The individual had removed her clothing, would not allow her to leave the room, and forced her to have sexual intercourse against her will, reports Deputy Starkey.
