Farmers Market opens Thursday
The Hillsboro Farmer's Market opens for a new season from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday on the lawn at Schaeffler House Museum, located at 312 East Grand Avenue.
Fresh produce and baked goods will be on sale. The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce will sell hot dogs for $1 to kick off the season.
Anyone who is interested in selling anything at the market is asked to pay $5 a week, or $15 a month for a booth. For more information, contact the chamber at 947-3506.
