Floyd Graham

Floyd C. Graham, 80, of Elizabethtown, Ky., died Aug. 23, 2003.

Born Aug. 20, 1923, at Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of Norman and Hilda (Pigorish) Graham.

He came to Kansas in 1930 with his parents and family. He grew up in the Elmo and Hope communities.

In 1943 he graduated from Dickinson County Community High School in Chapman.

He served in the U.S. Army for 28 years, serving in World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife Ruth and his 99-year-old mother-in-law, both of the home; sons, Dale and Victor of Virginia and John of Elizabethtown, Ky.; daughter, Rose Mary of Elizabethtown, Ky.; six grandchildren; brothers, Albert Graham of Kannopolis and Gale Graham of Strong City; sisters, Isabella Bezdek of Hillsboro, Viola Stevens and Velva Brunner of Belton, Mo.

Services were held Aug. 26 in Elizabethtown, Ky.
