Forensics team takes second at Berean
The Hillsboro High School forensics team placed second out of 12 teams in sweepstakes last Saturday at the Berean Invitational Forensics Tournament in Elbing.
Five members of the team received medals. Adrien Bebermeyer received first place in oration in the speaking events, and Grant Anderson received first place in serious solo in the acting events.
Emily Railsback received second place and Allison Kunkel received third place in informative speaking.
Kunkel placed third and Bebermeyer placed fourth in prose in the interpretive events. Alisa Prior placed sixth in humorous solo in the acting events.
The team will compete in the Marion Invitational Forensics meet today at Marion High School.
