Friday is deadline for chili cook-off, parade
The deadline is Friday for parade and chili cook-off entries for the annual Holly Days event, to be held Nov. 25-26, in Hillsboro.
The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce added the cooking competition to the event this year. The parade begins at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 25, and the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, at 6 p.m. Nov. 25.
Main Street shops will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
