Frosh girls compete in Hesston Tourney
The Hillsboro High School freshmen girls competed in the Hesston Freshmen Tournament held Saturday in Hesston.
Hillsboro lost 37-26 to Ellsworth.
Scoring for the Trojans were Megan Peachey and Lora Andrews with eight points each, Tina Frick with six, and Jenny Whisenhunt with four.
In the game against Marion, Hillsboro won 38-22.
Andrews led in scoring with 12 points.
Other scorers were Jessica Heidel with seven, Frick and Andrea Jost with six each, Whisenhunt with five, and Peachey with two.
In the game against Hesston, Hillsboro lost 37-29.
Andrews led the team in scoring again with 14 points.
Other scorers for the team were Heidel with five, Peachey with four, Frick, Whisenhunt, and Megan McCarty with two each.
