Gardeners are honored at Flower, Garden Show
The annual Goessel Flower and Garden Show, sponsored by the Town and Country Garden Club, was held June 4 and 5 at the Prep School building on the Mennonite Heritage Museum grounds. Top honors in the five main divisions were as follows: Children — Lauren Hiebert; Houseplants — Elda Banman; Cut Flowers — Lois Selzer; Arrangements — Joyce Watts; Vegetables/Fruits — Jane Hiebert. Best of show — Lois Selzer, Cut Flower; Most "Firsts" — Lois Selzer and Joyce Watts.
Show entries were judged by Andy Rizza of Stone Creek Nursery, Hesston.
The flower show committee would like to thank all who took the time to enter their harvest and those who helped with the show, especially Andy for being the judge.
