GES to present Christmas program Dec. 16 years ago
The students of Goessel Elementary School will present their Christmas program at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 16 in Goessel High School Auditorium.
Students in kindergarten through grade three will be presenting "Our House is a Holiday House" by Roger Emerson. Through narration and song, the musical is a reminder of the preparations, sights, sounds, and good feelings that the Christmas season brings. Third grade students will be featured as narrators and on instruments. Kindergarten through grade three students are directed by Marcia Brubaker and accompanied by Mary Schmidt.
Greg Bontrager and student teacher Brian Leisher direct the fourth through sixth grade choir and the fourth grade recorder ensemble. The choir will present Christmas choral pieces including "Sleigh Ride," "Holly Jolly Christmas," and "Praise to the Lord of Hosts" by Saint-Saens. Marcia Brubaker and student accompanist Michelle Unruh accompany the choir.
The community is invited to join in these celebrations of the Christmas season.
