GHS drama department to present play
Goessel High School drama department will present "Let Him Sleep 'til It's Time for his Funeral" at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the high school auditorium. The play is directed by Sheila Buller.
In the two-act comedy, written by Peg Kehret, everything from bad to awful happens. It begins when a loving wife Edna, played by Brittany Voth, decides to give her depressed husband, Harold, played by Ryan Janzen, a funeral for his 50th birthday.
It is to be a fantastic surprise party for guests, relatives, the undertaker, and most of all, Harold. But there is a mix-up. Harold thinks he's to be murdered by his wife, she thinks Harold is leaving her, and their daughter thinks the father is dying.
