GHS girls compete at Wichita

The Goessel High School girls' track team competed well April 15 the Wichita Independent CKTL meet.
All five girls placed in an event.
The team is small to begin with, but athletes are limited to a certain number of meets in one season and three girls sat out this meet in order to compete later in the season.
Kristen Hoffman and Shanna Klassen scored points in two events each to highlight the Bluebirds performances.
The host team took home the team title with 138 points, Berean Academy was second with 88, Little River was third with 39, Hillsboro was fourth with 35, and fifth place belonged to Goessel with 16.
