GHS girls finish eighth at Tescott
The Goessel High School girls' track and field team of eight individuals finished eighth out of 16 teams April 29 at the Tescott Invitational.
Aspen Frey finished third in the 1600-meter run and fourth in the 800m run.
Kendra Flaming ran her best time of the season in the 400m dash and earned third place.
Kristen Hoffman circled the track eight times with her fastest time this season in the 3200m run and earned fourth place.
Even though the small team hurts Goessel's chances in the team standings, coach Curtis Guhr commented he liked what he saw.
GHS participated at Remington Friday, but no results were available.
