Glahn awarded HCMC scholarship
Hillsboro High School graduating senior Janet Glahn has been awarded a Hillsboro Community Medical Center scholarship in the amount of $500.
The scholarship program began in 1993, and is awarded each year to a HHS graduate who plans to pursue a career in a health-related field.
Glahn plans to attend Kansas State University and major in food science. She then would like to attend the University of Kansas Medical School. In her application, Glahn expressed an interest in medicine, specifically as an emergency room physician.
Glahn has been active in choir, Spirit-N-Celebration, TSA, wrestling manager, and volleyball. She also is a member of the United Methodist church. She is the daughter of Stephen and Michelle Glahn.
