Goessel boys place third

The Goessel High School boys' track team competed well April 15 on a warm, windy day.
The Bluebirds boys were led by Craig Banman with three first-place performances (100-meter dash, 200m dash, 300m hurdles).
Weston Hiebert scored in three events with a first-place finish in the 110m hurdles, and Evan Hiebert came in first in the high jump.
The meet was won by Berean Academy with 109 points.
Wichita Independent was second with 94 points, third place saw Goessel with 86 points, Little River, fourth 47 points, and Hillsboro, fifth 14 points.
