Goessel cross country teams send runners to state
Boys team gets third at regionals

Although none of the Goessel High School boys finished in the top 10, as a team they finished third Saturday at regionals and will compete as a team Saturday in Wamego at the state meet.
GHS finished behind Stafford and Olpe and will run at 9:30 a.m.
The Goessel girls will send two individual runners to state.
Kristen Hoffman finished in eighth place with a 4K time of 17 minutes, 35 seconds, and Lindsey Wedel did not medal, but her time of 18:39 allows her to run Saturday as well.
The girls' team missed competing at state by one point. The girls' race begins at 10:30 a.m.
