The Goessel High School football team traveled to Little River for its second district game and lost to the Redskins 50-3.

The forty-five point rule came into play, and the game was called. The coaches then put in the younger players and with the clock running gave some experience to those who didn't get much varsity time. Little River scored another touchdown making the final score 56-3.

Goessel finished the Heart of America part of the season with a 0-3 record and with a 2-6 record overall. Next Friday, the Bluebirds host White City in a non-league, non-district game. Parents recognition will take place before the game.
