Goessel farmer featured in High Plains Journal
Marion County farmer Rod Peters of Goessel was featured in the Jan. 21 issue of The High Plains Journal, a farmer/rancher publication.
In an article entitled, "No-till fits farmer's goals," Peters talked about his switch to no-till farming in 1996. He farms 1,300 acres of tillable land and has 200 acres of pasture and Conservation Reserve Program land.
Peters is active in promoting no-till, hosting field trips for high school students and making presentations at no-till seminars. In
