Goessel football chalks up another win
Goessel High School dominated a non-district game Friday night against Wichita Sunrise Academy, by a score of 58-8.
The Bluebirds got off to a good start and never let up. GHS is 2-0 in District 5 and will play Friday at Claflin which is 3-0 in District 5.
The top two teams in each district advance to bi-district.
The winner of Friday's game will guarantee themselves a game at the next level.
Claflin has already defeated all the other teams in District 5 except GHS.
The Bluebirds will host Centre Sept. 25 for the last football game of the regular season.
At least seven teams in eight-man division I have not lost.
