Goessel girls compete at Inman

On April 25, the seventh-grade girls finished first in the Canton-Galva track meet. The eighth graders earned second place. Other teams participating were Canton-Galva, who finished second; Central Christian, third; and Burrton, fourth.
In the eighth grade division, Burrton finished first, trailed by Goessel, Canton-Galva, and Central Christian.
On April 18, seventh-grade girls finished second at the Inman track meet, while the eighth grade girls tied for third. Team results for seventh grade were Inman, first; Goessel, second; Trinity, third; and Remington fourth.
The eighth grade results were Inman in first; Trinity, second; Goessel, third; and Remington, fourth.
"Jennifer Schmidt has been running well in the 200-meter dash," said Coach Jackie Jordan. "She set a school record for eighth-grade girls in her first meet and broke that record in the Inman meet."
