Goessel library offers contest
Now that children are back in school, Goessel Public Library is offering a reading contest for adults.
The contest runs Sept. 1 through Oct. 31. Drawings will be held Oct. 1 and Nov. 1 for movie tickets to Newton Palace Theater.
Readers may sign up one time for each book read or listened to that is more than 175 pages in length.
Library patrons or volunteers, age 18 or over, who are in good standing (no outstanding fines or overdue books) are eligible to participate in the contest.
